Once again we started our day with a walk with the dogs.
Wayne and his borrowed dog, Fred
The view down the hill to the feilds
Wayne and Fred with Andy and Honey
After our walk it was time for Andy to teach Wayne how to drive on the left side of the road
I'm not sure I'd like to try, but Wayne did really well
We drove around the country side, then stopped in Shrewsbury for a walk around
It's a medieval period town with many of the buildings from the 15th & 16th centuries, although the original town dates back to the 800's.
This was the birthplace of Charles Darwin
Looks like something out of Harry Potter
Wonderful old buildings and cobblestone streets
This is now the public library, but in 1818 when Charles Darwin attended, it was the Anglican run Shrewsbury School.
The Shrewsbury Castle was built around 1074
Many buildings have been re-purposed, although it appears to have been a church building it now houses the St Nicolas Bar & Grill.
More old buildings
Then Wayne got back behind the wheel and off we went to Andy's House!
